Before treatment
Acne is a skin condition that requires patience, persistence, steady treatment and routine.
When you start treating acne, you'll often see a resurgence in your skin condition. This happens because we start cleansing the skin and bring your impurities to the surface. Resurfacing is a positive reaction from your skin because it's actively working with the in-clinic treatment as well as your home products.
Flare-ups are a frustrating period in your treatment, but it's important to persevere and know that things will settle down and get better.
There are no special precautions you should take before your treatment.
The treatment
The treatment consists of:
- A deep cleansing AHA fruit acid cleanser
- Exfoliation customized for your skin
- Specially designed lotion/tonic with disinfecting and regulating properties
- Serum adapted to skin condition
- A soothing and cooling leave-on gel mask
- A healing, moisturizing, nourishing and regenerating cream,
After the treatment
For the rest of the day, your skin needs to rest, so you should avoid washing/cleansing and high-intensity exercise.
You should also avoid using make-up for the rest of the day.
The skin may react with slight redness after treatment.
Remember SPF daily as the skin will be particularly sensitive to the sun.
